Emissions Product Control Analyst recruitment
Global Commodities Trading Company, based in Central London, now looking for a Senior Emissions Product Control Analyst to join their Product Control team.

The Product Control Analyst is responsible for providing management information, performance analysis including key performance indicators and analysis of trading positions for the asset trading business.
Reporting to the Product Control Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Calculating and reporting daily exposure and profit and loss for the use of traders and management.
- Analysing PL movements and discussing with traders and management.
- Independently assessing PL performance and writing daily control commentary explaining performance.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with control policies, standards and authority limits.
- Managing refinery information within the trading books.
- Reconciliation of trading books to accounts.
- Development/automation of trading books.
- Calculating the monthly commercial performance.
- Providing an independent check of market valuation.
- Assisting in the resolution of financial closing issues.
- Presenting and explaining monthly commercial performance results to management, refineries and supply.
- Additional ad hoc analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years emissions product control experience from an Investment Bank or Trading House. You will be an excellent team player, able to build working relationships across borders together with strong analytical capabilities highly numerate. Any accountancy qualification or experience in a petrochemicals or refinery environment is a definite advantage but not essential.
