Employee Benefits Analyst – Northwich, Cheshire recruitment

About the role

Barclays Wealth and Investment Management are looking for an Employee Benefits Analyst to act as the key point of contact supporting Corporate Employer Solutions, Corporate Relationship Managers and Employee Benefit Consultants in the growth of corporate pensions and risk business. This comprises of Stakeholders, Group Personal Pensions, Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection and Group Critical Illness. The role will involve analysis of former Group risk schemes, seeking and negotiating pension and risk terms, collating and summarising terms, Producing/Issuing/Tracking pension switch mailings, Identifying, monitoring and securing underwriting and premium payments, processing group risk renewals, general report drafting and conducting general administrative duties. You will work very closely with the London based Relationship Managers therefore it is important you build strong relationships within the team.

The successful candidate will administer annual group risk renewal, annual pension tasks plus associated peripheral activities. You will be required to proactively identify risk renewal dates and initiate pre-renewal activity.

About you

The successful candidate will possess excellent PC skills, including MS office applications and the ability to work to tight deadlines to meet performance targets.

You will also have strong numerical and analytical skills combined with an attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The right candidate must understand the importance of controls and risk associated with the financial services industry.
