Employment Lawyer (Singapore or Hong Kong based) recruitment
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
1.This includes review and drafting of employment contracts and ancillary documents, termination agreements, consultancy and service agreements; advising in relation to employee relations matters; advising in relation to disciplinary matters and review and drafting of related documents; providing legal advice in relation to various Human Resource initiatives including outsourcing and international redeployment; review and drafting of various policies/initiatives applicable at local, regional and global level; advising when it is appropriate to engage external counsel and thereafter engaging and co-ordinating external counsel.
2. Providing legal advice with respect to data protection / data privacy matters;
3. Participating in relevant regional and divisional practice groups and promoting sharing of know-how and expertise in relation to relevant areas of practice;
4. Providing legal advice with respect to potential litigation risk and co-ordinating and managing litigation matters.
TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Experience in employment law preferred, but sound general contractual experience essential.
- Experience in litigation and dispute resolution preferred.
- Excellent drafting and legal interpretation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage external counsel.
- Effective time management and prioritisation skill.
- Must be pro-active and possess the initiative to drive projects and matters forward to resolution.
