Our client is one of the leading custody banks in Europe and they are looking to continue to develop their presence in the Asia market. Within Operations, they are looking to recruit an experienced Commodities Operation Officer.
The core responsibilities of the role will include contacting customer to clarify unclear instructions to discuss details of transactions or documentation. Matching of terms and conditions stipulated in Master L/C versus Slave L/C and ensuring Buy/Sell details are consistent with Import/Export L/C and Buy/Sell contracts. You would also be required to follow up on shipment details, letter of undertaking and master letter.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Banking Finance
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Commodities Ops or Trade Finance
• Candidates with operations experience in a Trading Firm are welcome
• Team oriented and has an eye for details
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills
