Sr. Investment Liaison
A T. Rowe Price an Investment Liaison (IL) is a critical and highly visible position. IL’s work alongside Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts and Specialists to provide them with a wide range of investment information/data relating to the portfolios that they manage. The data that is used in both the PM decision-making process and client documentation is checked/verified by the IL to mitigate investment risk.
To be based in our London office (Bank) this Senior Fixed Income Investment Liaison that will support our Global Macro, EM, European IG and High Yield Investors.
This Senior Investment Liaison will maintain a strong command of the PM’s investment philosophy, strategies and products in addition to a solid understanding of the business and teams/areas within it. This will be achieved through regular contact with the Portfolio Manager(s), attending strategy meetings, studying investment guidelines, reviewing marketing kits and materials and producing investment packs.
The Senior Investment Liaison will possesses deep knowledge of client products and services as well as a solid understanding of operational processes, accountabilities and dependencies in order to represent Investment Staff, business requirements, system and workflow needs. They will provide training, orientation and mentoring to other Investment Liaisons when required.
The successful candidate will be degree educated and have relevant work experience gained within Financial Services (ideally Asset Management). They will have an in-depth knowledge of Fixed Income investment concepts. Strong Excel (including Macro development) and experience with market data services are both required. Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiating and influencing ability and an analytical/quantitative mind-set are critical to the success of this position.
