Energy Governance Services Co-ordinator – Central London recruitment

An energy company based in London operating at the heart of the electricity and gas markets is looking to hire a Governance Services Coordinator to join their team in Central London. You will be working for a company that play a key role in the gas and electricity markets, and are involved in supporting processes for the management of several of the key developments recently in the energy sector, including the rollout of Smart Metering in the UK energy market. This position would be a great career move for an individual with an understanding of the UK gas and/or electricity market who wants to broaden their market understanding and develop their career.

In this position you will be responsible for day to day delivery of the governance services, and conduct varied work supporting technical committees, liasing with counterparties and customers, and managing and updating industry websites.

You will need to be of graduate calibre, with experience in the regulatory/codes side of either the gas or electricity markets. You will also have strong administrative and organisational skills, and also experience in working with websites, possibly as part of a user group. As sometimes the team needs to meet challenging deadlines you will also be flexible where required on working hours to meet delivery targets.
