Energy Market Risk Analyst - Leading Energy Brokerage - Midlands
My client is one of the top 5 Energy Brokerages in Europe who have continued to remain highly profitable even during recession. This continued demand and success has lead to the need to expand their Risk Management team.
This is a highly analytical role which demands a solid awareness of the Power and Gas markets. Working closely with Front Office teams in this market facing role, you will be highly influential in the analysis and development of bespoke Risk Management products for their diverse client base using VaR evaluation and MTM positioning. As the market risk analyst you will also be involved in writing detailed market updates and present these to clients and senior management. This is a great opportunity to develop as an Energy professional in a growing organisation which will accelerate your career.
Candidate profile:
-Excellent analytical / statistical ability.
-Strong Commercial Energy Market awareness
-Advanced Excell and Access, VBA beneficial
-VaR CaR MTM
-Prior Experience within Energy Trading/Supply
