Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). Honeywell is looking for an Energy Services Account Executive to work in Richardson, TX
Job Responsibilities:
- Securing appointments with executive decision makers to discuss business solutions; including the repair and modernization of a facilities infrastructure.
- Developing and implementing market growth strategies that define value for geographical and market aligned clients (vertical market focus - Muni's or Higher Education).
- Understanding the changing dynamics of the energy market and governing legislation for large scale solutions based performance agreements.
- Management of disciplined sales process that delivers value to clients through agreed upon milestones and requirements
- Working knowledge of the emerging renewable energy market, LEED accreditation, and carbon monetization.
- Working with a team to develop a comprehensive proposal that includes technical solutions, financial solutions, and overall cost savings.
- Proposal presentation and contract negotiation.
- Maintaining ongoing customer relationships to insure customer satisfaction and future opportunities.
- Targeted markets include but are not limited to K-12 schools, universities and city/county/state government.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 5 years of direct energy services experience/performance contracting sales.
- 3 years of proven success (portfolio) in direct selling of energy services performance contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated group presentation skills.
- Energy management/retrofit background preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in large project presentations to convey value that aligns with identified customer business objectives.
- Ability to understand target markets and position solutions that address emerging market trends and confirmed customer concerns that serve as barriers to their business objectives.
- Strong relationship building skills at an executive level with either a technical or financial competency
- Large project intangible sales experience
