Energy Strategy Consultant
You will be required to manage juniors , coordinate with the senior partners in the firm on a lot of quantitative analysis, projects management and getting involved in the business development for the firm.
Your day-to-day work,
Design complex economic analytical frameworks
Manage projects from start to finish - including creation of deliverables (models, reports, and presentations)
Offer clients commercial Energy insights
Requirements
- A high class degree in Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Management Science, Economics or equivalent from a well-respected university.
- An MS, MBA or PhD qualification (or equivalent), or significant relevant energy industry work experience, is preferred.
-Must be a fluent English speaker with proven ability to write English reports and presentations
(Ability to speak and write Mandarin, or any other Asian language is a bonus).
-Must have at least 2 years of work experience in the energy industry, ideally in the electricity supply industry or as a consultant to the energy industry.
- Experience in operations/systems planning/modelling/pricing work for electricity/oil/gas/water/telcom market is a plus
- Must be proficient at Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Access is a bonus. Experience in writing optimisation-based computer programmes using GAMS, Mathematica or similar algebraic modelling language is a bonus as well.
-In terms of personality, strongly self-motivated, independent individuals are preferred
