Engagement Team Advisor

My client is a government formed organisation working on a particular project based out of the Warrington area who is looking to recruit a permanent member of staff to join their team.

The essence of the role is to act as a first point of contact for all individuals and organisations involved in and related to this specific project.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence from a wide range of individuals and stakeholders
- Acting as a first point of contact for members of the public involved
- Assessing incoming emails / letters and phonecalls and directing them to the right person to deal with
- Drafting and issuing letters and emails in response to routine enquiries
- Identifying and escalating high profile / sensitive issues where necessary
- Liaising with related parties and individuals
- Liaising with internal and other government departments
- Issuing regular letters and communications
- Maintaining a log of all incoming and outgoing communications

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Good standard of general education and recent relevant experience working within a customer focused / information handling environment
- Experience of dealing with people in challenging and sensitive situations
- Experience of responding to customer queries and complaint in writing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Confidence dealing with and communicating with people at all levels
- Demonstrable experience working in emotionally charged situations and with sensitive issues
- Excellent IT skills
