JOB REQUIREMENTS: Constant monitoring of processes for improvement activity Assist and participate in new model equipment specifications, implementation, validation, and process development Ensure efficient manpower/ process balance Encourage continuous improvement ideas Assist weld schedule development and verification Assist PLC programming on required equipment Assist weld line install Assist Robot teaching and verification Assist in weld line layout development Assist in process cycle time and capacity analysis Assist in required project management document creation Assist with countermeasure request form (CRF) creation and tracking Assist in preparation and presentation of all training for new model Travel to supplier premises to analyze parts and quality systems Travel to customer premises to analyze parts Document all new model trials on problem tracking charts Create 3-D images for suppliers/ vendors as required Operate Catia V-4 and V-5 and other 3d model software programs Other Duties may be assigned Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA) In Engineering, equivalent experience, or a combination of the two Specific Experience: Interpret documents Write reports Understanding of basic Algebra and geometry in order to calculate formulas, interest, discounts, commissions proportions, area, circumference, and volume Ability to understand complex problems and complete assignments following detailed instructions Knowledge of basic Database software, Design Software, Internet Software, Manufacturing software, Microsoft software.
