Duties include:
Design, installation and commissioning of metering systems for substations, generating plants as well as large customers.
Plan and coordinate major metering projects, provide engineering support and training for assigned AEP operating companies and generating plants.
Develop metering programs and perform lab tests and analysis.
May be called upon for on-site troubleshooting and maintenance.
This position is posted in a range, Engineer III to Engineer I. Education and relevant experience will be used to determine appropriate salary and salary grade.

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in a program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged.
Professional Engineering License is required for Senior Engineer status.
