Job Description Job Classification: Direct Hire Seeking a hands on Manufacturing engineer for a direct hire opportunity. Salary depends on experience. Must have a BS degree in Engineering. EXPERIENCE: 1. Proficient in the use of MasterCam CAD/CAM tools. Able to utilize the computer to create part geometry and subsequently develop turning and milling CNC programs. 2. Methodize products to maximize efficiency in manufacturing and production. 3. Defines special tooling requirements and fixtures as required. 4. Familiar with commonly used concepts, practices and procedures, within the metal fabrication environment. SPC, 5S, Demand-pull and Lean Manufacturing techniques desirable. 5. Responds promptly to process improvements by utilizing troubleshooting and problem solving skills. 6. Cross-functional among all manufacturing disciplines; Engineering, Production, shop floor and Quality. 7. Willing to attend technological seminars to ensure that TAS-CT remains competitive. Job Requirements : Physical Limitations: Work may require sitting up to eight (8) hours per day, standing up to eight (8) hours per day, writing, and some travel. Minimum Education Required: Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Minimum Years of Experience Required: Five (5) years as a manufacturing engineer with a strong technical background in CNC machining of various metals, within a short run environment. Proficient with the use of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
