Function: Customer Service, Technical Family: Product Implementation What Product Implementation contributes to Cardinal Health Product Implementation is responsible for installing a wide range of products and services that involve extensive customer interaction. · Demonstrates a thorough understanding of products, related technologies and the implementation process · Independently executes assigned deliverables from the implementation plan · Performs advanced training of products and technologies · Integrates complex products/services with customer systems and processes What is expected of you and others at this level in Customer Service, Technical for functional success · Ensures that clients have a positive experience; commits to meet or exceed client expectations. · Demonstrates deep expertise of supported client; collaborates with COE to identify the drivers leading to business success. · Proactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices; leverages expertise to produce solutions that enable global consistency and standardization and facilitate exceptional performance. · Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions and services; manages monetary assets and other resources to optimize cost effectiveness. · Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, programs or deliverables; compares measurement results to standards and takes immediate action to close gaps identified. Accountabilities · Install and support Pyxis Dispensing hardware and software. · Perform upgrades to Pyxis Dispensing software and hardware. · Complete training and develop basic competency in the Pyxis Specialty Station and/or Pyxis Oncology Station product line. · Provide basic problem solving and troubleshooting as needed for customer. · Conduct customer training on the use of Pyxis Dispensing products. · Establish and maintain customer service relationships to ensure a long term business partnership. · Demonstrates a working understanding of products, related technologies and the implementation process · Independently executes assigned deliverables from the implementation plan · Performs general training of products and technologies · Integrates basic products/services with customer systems and processes Familiarity with; - Drug nomenclature - Pharmacy-based automated dispensing machines (ADM) - Basic supply chain logistics of ambulatory care settings ? Ability to: - Coordinate implementation processes in healthcare environment; i.e. install equipment; implement service offerings, etc. - Prioritize and establish sense of urgency within a patient-centric environment ? - Desirable to have: - Familiarity with ADM competitive environment (LynxMobile, NUCLEUS, Omnicell, etc) - Experience with cost containment reimbursement processes in ambulatory care environment - Working knowledge of procurement and contracting processes - Working knowledge of group purchasing organization (GPO) processes Qualifications · Bachelor's in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or Computer Science preferred but not required · Strong technical orientation and experience supporting proprietary and standard applications. · Have the ability to troubleshoot problems in a logical manner · Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at a time, prioritize as necessary so that all clients receive the highest level of customer service. · Must have clear, concise written and verbal communication skills · Must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions.
