Position Responsibilities:

 

  

 

  • Understands all applicable process technology, equipment and control technology.

·     Works with Technical Advisors and plant personnel to optimize operations, meet business and plant goals. (Production, Cost, Quality, HSE, Yield, Attainment).

·     Participates in advanced trouble shooting using Six Sigma tools when necessary and coaches others to learn these skills. Participates and leads Six Sigma and Productivity Improvement teams when necessary to continuously improve manufacturing operations.

·     Implements best practices in operations in order to optimize operations.

·     Understands and applies skills and knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology, to maximize plant asset utilization and produce low cost, quality products.

·     Initiates changes to Plant operating procedures to ensure they are valid and up to date. Works with Technical Advisors in this respect.

·     Networks with other engineers on site and within the global business to leverage knowledge on plant operations (i.e. Production, Improvement, etc.).

·     Routinely communicate technical information and issues to plant personnel.

·     As required participates on and leads teams in his/her area of accountability.

·     Completes CPARs Root Cause Analysis for all product failures in area. Actively participates in Structured Safety Process.

   Supports HOS by participating in Tier meetings, 5S and visual workplace.
