The position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Analyzes requirements and ensures that the information system meets all requirements for the architecture. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, test, installation, operation, and maintenance. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation. Experience in support of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Enterprise Architectures. Experience in working with system engineering, requirements management and architecure tools such as CORE, IBM System Architect, MagicDraw, DOORS, Requisite Pro, and executable UML. Experience in the development of DoD Architectural Framework (DoDAF) products including Operational Views (OV) and System Views (SV).

The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be customer and detail oriented and possess good decision-making abilities. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline and 9 years experience is a must or 13 years of direct experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • A Secret Clearance, at least Interim.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Biometric Systems is a plus
