Required Skills

Working knowledge of high wattage switching systems, diesel engine operations, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), MAXIMO maintenance scheduling, and ability to read ESK/PSK's. Compliance and reporting experience with OSHA, EPA and ISO. Strong oral and written communication skills. Adept with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).

Specific Job Description

This position is for the Test Operations Contract at the Stennis Space Center in Stennis, Mississippi. Responsible for high-level duties associated with the operations and maintenance of electrical systems used to support electrical demand and industrial water requirements for large rocket engine or article testing in the High Pressure Industrial Water facility. This position requires knowledge of power generation, phasing and switching of electrical current. Requires operational knowledge of 5K horsepower diesel engines, large generators and direct drive pumping systems. Responsible for creating Work Authorization documents, coordination of test day activities, ensure daily compliance with SSC requirements and make daily job assignments to the technical work force in the High Pressure Industrial Water facility.
