Engineering Project Manager

As an engineering project manager you will be tasked with helping our engineering team move forward in harmony to develop quality software in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the implementation of one or more large-scale engineering projects
- Oversee the team in their identification of requirements, development of project strategy and preparation of business use cases
- Identify roadblocks, dependencies and other issues and work with the team to resolve these issues
- Coordinate resources to consistently deliver high quality products on time, within budget and with the required functionality
- Determine process improvements and implement changes as necessary
- Projects may include, but are not limited to, application development (e.g., APIs, system integrations, telecommunications and cloud solutions) and call center technology (e.g., ACD, IVR, Skills-based Routing, CTI, call recording, call monitoring, workforce management and reporting)
- Undertake special projects and support other team initiatives as needed
Main requirements
- BA/BS in engineering or a related discipline required
- 4+ years work experience as a project manager
- Knowledge and use of formal Quality Assurance processes
- Solid understanding of relevant technology and tools including APIs, cloud solutions and programming languages is preferred
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and business needs
- Understand the development and implementation of large-scale, complex applications in a call center technology environment
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and succeed in an environment with competing demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to take initiative, use consultative skills and build strong, productive relationships
