Job Summary: Maintain laser welding machine and plant equipment. Support maintenance and operations with electrical projects and troubleshooting of all key systems including robotics, drives, PLC (Allen Bradley), HMI (Panelview+), plant floor control networks (ENET, DeviceNet, DH+, RIO), power distribution and control, and general purpose industrial controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setup and maintain quality monitoring systems.
  • Setup proto type and new production parts.
  • Trouble-shoot process issues.
  • Use continuous improvement and process optimization, to achieve company operating goals.
  • Supervise production employees.
  • Administer preventive maintenance system.
  • Direct preventative maintenance activities.
  • Maintain calibration records for process measuring equipment and quality monitoring systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills Qualifications:

  • Diploma in electrical technology, majoring in control systems or 3 - 5 years of experience in an industrial environment maintaining automated processing equipment.
  • Proven experience with robot programming.
  • Experience with weld processing; laser welding experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
  • Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Additional Requirements:

  • Must be physically able to freely access all areas of the plant grounds.
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Have the ability to travel as needed to other plant locations via most expeditious means.
