Enterprise Architect – Global leading Technology Services Organisation recruitment
An Enterprise Architect is required by my client, a leading organisation that specialise in Data Management. My client plans, builds, supports, manages, improves and innovate their client’s ICT infrastructures. They combine expertise in network integration, data centre solutions, security, Microsoft solutions and converged communications contact centre technologies, with advanced skills in consulting, integration, training and managed services to design ICT solutions to accelerate the business ambitions of its clients.
Responsibilities of the role:
The Enterprise Architect’s primary focus is to assist and guide clients through their enterprise architecture strategy leading towards solution implementation to meet their business needs. In doing so the Enterprise Architect will seek out client pain-points, formulate appropriate services/solutions from across the company’s service/solution offerings and provide these solutions to clients. In order to achieve this, suitable candidates will possess the following capabilities and attributes:
- Strategy and planning for client engagement with clear planned outcomes
- Business focused with the ability to engage with clients from both business and IT divisions
- The ability to engage at different levels within the client’s organisational hierarchy forming strong and trusted relationships.
- The ability to bring together solution teams from within the organisation and provide high-level leadership during the client delivery
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong social skills with the ability to socially engage with clients when required
- Ability to provide themes and thought leadership to RFP responses to deliver a high quality response with good commercial outcomes for both the company and the client.
- Have a good grasp of commercials to enable orchestration of a variety of commercial engagement options offering flexibility for the client to choose a commercial arrangement most suited to them.
Requirements of the role:
Education:
- Tertiary education or equivalent. Appropriate certification in Enterprise Architecture
- A minimum of ten years’ experience in business or IT Consulting around Datacentre solutions.
Knowledge:
- Solid practical experience in consulting principles combined with the ability to understand complex business environments
- Maturity to engage with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication (verbal/written) and networking skills – ability to work with colleagues across a broad range of skills and senior management.
- Personality – friendly, self-starter, highly motivated, team player.
- Excellent client facing skills including facilitation of workshops, presentations and document writing
- Sound appreciation of business and its various functions, particularly around strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of effective engagement management principles
- General understanding of customer services principles
