The Enterprise Architect at Jolera is the high level of technical resource within the company, these individuals are classified as the “jack of all trades” with regards to data networking infrastructure from a hardware, IP, and software perspective.  There is a travel requirement of up to 60% for the position.

 

What you need to have:

        8+ years’ experience in infrastructure

        Supporting clients at 3rd tier level

        Window Servers Technologies (2k3, 2k8)

        Exchange (2000, 2003, 2007, 2010)

        WAN (IP routing, QoS, switching)

        Virtualization technology - VMWare, Citrix Xen Server/App/Desktop, Hyper-V

        Linux, Unix

        Storage Area Network technology (SANs)

        Experience providing technical coaching to other team members

 

What you will be doing:

        Responsible for, and the design and implementation of, Networks including WAN and physical platforms (servers, SAN’s and NAS devices, switching, routers, firewalls, WAPs, network cabling, UPS Systems)

        Responsible for, and the configuration and implementation of all aspects of the virtual system application stacks including: Host level hypervisors, virtual machines, Linux Distributions, VMWare, Windows Servers, Citrix, MS Exchange, MS TMG/ISA

        Responsible for design and implementation of enabling enterprise level systems required for the functioning of services including: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Network Design, Routing protocols such as OSPF, Active Directory structure and security policies therein

        Providing escalation support and guidance to other team members

        Ensures that Best Practices IT policies and procedures are properly documented, developed, observed and maintained

        Participate in technology steering committee for product innovation and development to support emerging technologies.
