Enterprise Architect/IT Architect – Business Banking
About the role:
We are seeking a Enterprise Architect/IT Architect to join our Business Banking division within our Retail Banking Group. This is a senior level role where you will be responsible for leading a small team of highly skilled Solution Architects working across new business initiatives within the bank as well as being part of the Relationship Banking leadership team and the architecture community within Macquarie.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with Business Stakeholders to understand strategy and direction
- Be an active member of the BFS Architecture Board and represent MRB
- Manage a team of Solution Designers who are focussed on producing conceptual design
- Be part of the Leadership team and provide mentoring, guidance and promote a culture of high achievement
About you:
To be successful in this role as a Enterprise Architect/IT Architect you will be degree qualified and have proven Architecture experience within an enterprise environment ideally within financial services. You will demonstrate strong people management skills including the ability to motivate staff and as well as working with the senior leadership team within both the business and technology In addition you will possess the following skills and experience
- Strong problem solving skills and an ability to under business drivers
- Technical Background with experience in design and implementation of business applications
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience along with the ability to ask the tough questions
- Proven leadership experience within technology teams
