Enterprise Operational Risk & Control Manager – Bulge Bracket Investment Bank recruitment
The Enterprise Operational Risk Control Manager will have ownership of the monthly firm-wide, regional and country level operational risk reporting and will work closely with senior management to improve design, content and efficiency of management reporting. The jobholder will be responsible for ongoing review and assessment of operational risk incidents and associated action plans including thematic root cause analysis and review of incident post mortems and action plan verification for significant incidents. The incumbent will develop the operational risk metrics program as well as perform ongoing review, assessment and collection of key risk indicators. The Enterprise Operational Risk Control Manager will perform operational risk analysis of data collected to identify key risk themes from the various data sources, carry out user training for risk systems in the region, coordinate and facilitate self-assessment programs and participate and provide input to highlight operational risk requirements in accordance with business and regulatory requirements and implement and execute firm wide operational risk projects and initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a degree holder with at least 5 years experience in an operational risk, internal audit or internal control role gained in an investment banking environment. Candidates are required to have solid relationship building and influencing skills, be analytical thinkers and have a solid understanding of financial business, products, processes, risks and controls.
