Finance is an exciting and thriving area of our Consulting business. The practice has a unique blend of business and technical skills which is able to perform advisory, design, assurance and implementation services to our enviable client base - it is the largest group in the UK serving the needs of the CFO.

The practice operates across 3 business areas including Enterprise Performance Management, Finance Systems and Finance Advisory. We have a portfolio of implementation propositions that cover Oracle, SAP, and IBM.

A new opportunity for a Manager to join and help develop our EPM practice, specifically focusing on SAP.

Our EPM practice works with CFOs from large national and multinational organisations to develop enterprise performance frameworks to allow them to effectively plan, measure and drive growth within their organisations. Whilst the initial development of these frameworks are technology agnostic we are enhancing our capability to deliver integrated technology solutions based on Oracle's EPM suite Hyperion.

Variety, complexity Innovation

The candidate will be expected to consult with all levels of a client's business and be comfortable in front of the finance business and IT, and from the analysts to the CIO and CFO, and be involved in the full life cycle of an EPM project starting with the initial design of the performance framework through to the implementation of the supporting technology.

Your technical responsibilities would include being an expert on:

• SAP

• BI Plus

• Business Intelligence reporting suite

• Process chains

• Roles and authorisations

• Reporting  - including query design, Web Application Design tool, report designer and Analyze

The role involves:

• Lead Financial Services architecture and strategy engagements

• Play a significant role in the shaping, sale and delivery of major implementations

• Develop and work with an internal and external contact network to develop new opportunities, and foster and grow Financial Services capabilities amongst EPM professionals. 

• Demonstrate evidence of business development and sales

• Demonstrate evidence of strong long term client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in a Financial Services framework, significant experience of managing and developing technical teams, experience of involvement in major sales (acting as a technical advisor/lead in the sales process) and delivery of significant engagements, in a technical lead role.

Qualifications

• Ideally undergraduate degree or equivalent from reputable university

• Demonstrate wide array of capabilities from strategic (thought leadership and selling) to tactical (delivery and problem solving)

• Product knowledge - SAP, SAP BPC, MS Performance Point.

• Strong team lead and management experience                     

• Able to collaborate with clients and offer solutions for business problems

• Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

• Experience conducting performance reviews and coaching staff

• Further developing an already established network of external contacts that can be leveraged in the sales process
