Full Job Description

The core functional objectives for the Risk Management and Compliance Department are to:

- Continue to promote a Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) culture withinthe organisationand ensure that the management information used to evidence that TCF is embedded across the business is challenged and developed; and

- Ensure that the risk management and compliance function is aligned with the strategic priorities of Origen and that the control and governance infrastructure supports the achievement of these corporate objectives; and

- Maintain a risk and compliance culture that is aligned with the FSA requirements for principles based regulation and which is firmly established across all areas of the business; and

- Effectively manage the key risk and compliance relationships with the FSA and with the parent company, in order to ensure thatthe businessbenefits to the fullest extent from these relationships.
The role of the chosen individual is to assist the Compliance Manager in forming compliance policy, ensuring the provision of effective and appropriate compliance policies, interpretation and approvals.

To help maximise risk mitigation across the organisation by providing proactive identification of regulatory requirements, implementing industry best practice and supporting the `Approved Persons` in ensuring the optimisation of compliant profitable sales.

The ideal candidate will be degree educated and have some experience in compliance in a financial services organisation.
