Position Description:
You will work on a project team with other mechanical engineers involved in new generation nuclear power plant design, modifications, and upgrades. You will have the opportunity to be involved in mechanical system design, preparation and review of engineering calculations, and related mechanical engineering analyses.
Using state-of-the-art computer tools, you will perform mechanical analysis of plant systems.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to travel to plant site locations to perform field examinations and mechanical engineering evaluations.

Qualifications:
This entry level position requires a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with course work in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
Previous engineering experience in the nuclear power industry, specifically working on nuclear plant design or modifications, including motor operated valve program modifications, is a plus.
This position requires the successful completion of a background investigation including a check of criminal records for nuclear plant access. Applicants must be will to work at client site and be able to obtain unescorted access to nuclear power facilities.
