E&P Lead accountant
A major international Oil Exploration Production business with offices based in Central London has a contract job requirement for a Financial Accountant to work in their EP division.
This temporary role will be responsible for consolidating the financial accounts under IFRS and reports for the whole EP division worldwide, and presenting them to the corporate finance team to be included in the wider group consolidations. This position will work with various finance teams located internationally, and will be responsible for providing technical accounting guidance, ensuring adherence to time frames, and ensuring appropriate internal controls are observed. Experience liaising with off-shore shared service centres, and supporting intercompany recharges will be important.
This position is due to last for 6 months initially, with a strong possibility of extension for a good performer. We are looking for qualified accountants (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) who have some experience within the Oil Gas, or Natural Resources industries.
