We currently have an opening for an EPC (Compressor Controls) Key Account Manager at our Houston, Tx Manufacturing Facility.
Summary: Account Manager for EPC (engineering procurement) represents all Hoerbiger capital products in support of Oil and Gas Process Maintenance, Upgrades and Construction . Responsible for both direct or influenced purchases in the air, oil gas, petrochemical, refrigeration and other related markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides key account coverage to EPCs and other related customers. Account responsibilities are assigned by the Vice President of OEM Sales in the Americas. This position also has a dotted line reporting function to the EPC support manager in Vienna, Austria.
Promotes and presents Hoerbiger product lines to EPCs and other related accounts. Show a high level of Hoerbiger KT core product knowledge. Obtains necessary information from EPCs to enable Hoerbiger to submit quotations, receive orders, and to allow EPCs to specify Hoerbiger equipment for purchase by OEMs and End Users.
Follows up with customers that they are satisfied with our products. When problems do occur, insure that the necessary support is given in a timely manner by the appropriate department within the Company.
The EPC Key Account Manager is also responsible for accompanying the EPC client on field trips to visit customer locations, etc if required. They will represent Hoerbiger at these customer locations acting as a liaison for the EPC.
The EPC Key Account Manager is also responsible for attending industry trade shows and events.
Responsible for understanding the relevant compression, control and safety markets for assigned EPCs and informs management of trends in the market and information concerning competition.
Prepares sales reports, visit reports, telephone reports, project updates, monthly updates and other related communications and to organize prompt follow-ups on action items.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four year college or university preferably in Mechanical or Process Engineering, and minimum five to ten years experience or any combination. Courses/Experience in Compressor Products, Packaging and Service would be beneficial.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Spreadsheet software and MS Office Package Word Processing software.
