If you are looking for an opportunity to provide technical support to a wide variety of state of the art electronics assembly and production equipment, including robotics, surface mount technology component placement equipment, through-hole component placement equipment, PCB soldering equipment, and plastic injection molding equipment, while being part of a highly respected company in the electrical control sector, then this position is for you! Equipment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on complex production equipment. Troubleshoot complex production equipment failures with minimal direction and guidance. Responsible equipment up-time goals for assigned equipment sets. Participate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of complex production equipment. Lead teams to identify and solve complex production equipment issues. Train Equipment Maintenance personnel and operators on machine operation and maintenance procedures. Provide mentorship and guidance to Equipment Maintenance personnel. Enter and maintain accurate entries in the equipment maintenance database. Practice the SEL Values. Follow and improve manufacturing processes. Qualifications: 2 year Associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience. General knowledge of programming critical path production equipment. Solid understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic technology and theory. Solid knowledge of analog and digital electronics. Solid knowledge of utilizing modern test equipment to diagnose equipment failures. Excellent communication, writing and speaking skills. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment, including analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits as well as vision and robotics systems. Ability to accept and understand direction, learn new skills and assume new responsibilities with a positive attitude. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment. Ability to perform assigned tasks under minimal direction and guidance. Background check results satisfactory to SEL. Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications: Basic knowledge of programming automated production equipment.
