Equities Application Support Specialist recruitment

The Citi
Equities Technology Production Management team are responsible for
supporting the applications and processes used by global Equity
Trading business groups, and to facilitate the needs of the
end-users with respect to those platforms. The candidate will be
situated in London but will require very regular contact with other
regional teams, and may require occasional travel. The core hours
of coverage will be EMEA business hours which range between 6:30am
and 8pm (in defined shifts). The primary responsibility of the
successful candidate will be to facilitate the immediate needs of
the trading desks supported, which will encompass managing a wide
variety of issues ranging from business to technology problems. In
addition the candidate will invariably engage with other local and
global support and development teams via established communication
channels and protocols. The role will be extremely varied in
nature, incorporating both hands-on support and issue management
duties. Additionally the individual will be required to partner
with teams in other countries/regions and as such strong
communication skills will be required. The individual will also
face off to senior business and technology staff both locally and
globally on a regular basis. The role presents an excellent
opportunity for the successful candidate to develop a broad range
of technical and soft skills, as well as the ability to develop a
thorough understanding of the Equities business and its associated
flows. In addition the successful candidate will be rotated between
different support desks periodically, allowing them to become
experts in supporting multiple business flows and to develop strong
relationships with their respective trading groups.
