Equities Business Manager recruitment
Moelis Company is a highly regarded independent global investment bank with offices in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. The breadth of the role encompasses broad front line support to the Equities business combined with management of relationships with regulators, exchanges and service providers.
The position reports directly to the Head of Australian Equities. It would suit a highly motivated, mature, personable individual who is extremely well organised and has the ability to manage projects. Equities dealing room experience is required. Proficiency with spreadsheets, powerpoint and other desktop applications is a pre requisite. Familiarity with Bloomberg, Iress and electronic client connectivity systems are required.
Effective support for the Equities Dealing and Research teams requires strong situational awareness, an ability to think and react quickly and effective interaction with management, compliance, legal and regulators.
The main responsibilities may be summarised under the following headings:
- Financial monitoring and reporting
- Account management including KYC/AML compliance
- HR and travel support
- Liaison with ASX, ASIC and other external parties
- Regulatory reporting and linkage to compliance team
- IT and systems oversight
- Research editing
