Requirements
Background:
University degree in business administration, finance or economics, or scientific degree (biology).
Experience:
University degree or 1-3 years of work experience as analyst or other position (dependent on background).
Fluent in:
English, German
Applications:
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular), will need to work with efront (no experience with this software needed upfront, will get internal training)

- Good discipline and attention to detail and ability to meet demanding deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.

Duties
Support of the life science team in the following asset classes / areas:
Private Equity:
- administration: portfolio company data input in efront, report generation out of efront
- Support in monthly reporting analysis
- Support in quarterly reporting
- Handling of deal flow
- Support in due diligence
Hedge funds
- Support in due diligence
- Support in monthly reporting analysis
Public Equities
- Support in company valuation
- Support in company analysis / screening
Responsibilities
Manage efront data: needs to get acquainted with efront, and manage data input and output (generation of reports) regarding single investments and fund vehicles.
Support in company due diligence: support portfolio manager in conducting in-depth analysis of private and public life science companies (mainly diagnostics, medtech pharma, biotech, services, tools) to help determine investment potential.
Support in hedge funds due diligence: support portfolio manager in conducting in-depth analysis of long/short equity managers investing in life science companies.
Support in writing due diligence reports: support portfolio managers in writing detailed reports (typically 10-20 pages) outlining all aspects of the due diligence process conducted on a given company and subsequent investment recommendation.
Support in monitoring current investments: support in monitoring investments (analysis of monthly reports,…).
