Job Summary  Responsibilities

Corporate Access is seeking a professional with proven market knowledge and project management skills. Based in London, this person will be responsible for coverage of European Banks and Insurance companies and will provide a full Corporate Access service to the Investor Relations teams at these companies, as well as executing events in the sector. In addition, this person will work on various ad-hoc projects within the team, which will require flexibility in terms of tasks and responsibilities. The ability to cultivate relationships across divisions and business lines is critical, as is the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a global team.

Corporate Access, is an integral part of the Equities sales franchise based on the trading floor, delivering opportunities for the firm’s Institutional investing clients to meet with corporate managements. 

• Broking of investor and shareholder information as well as market/trading trends and share price developments to corporate Investor Relations professionals

• Executing and managing numerous global roadshows working closely with the global Equities sales teams as well as GIR and IBD

• Driving Pan-European and Emerging Market commissions through commercial investor targeting

• Hosting meetings for, and providing detailed information to senior management (CEO-level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills; must present well, exhibit poise under pressure, be articulate and will be the face of Goldman Sachs.

• Knowledge of the equity markets, and displays a keen interest in the financial markets/macro landscape

• Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent project management skills – ability to multi-task and act autonomously.

• Knowledge of financial services and the products and processes of a full service investment bank and broker dealer.

• Ability to establish a broad network within a complex organization.

• Driven/self-starter – willingness to do what is required to deliver a superior product.

• An understanding and appreciation for the firm’s culture.

• Minimum three years experience in the corporate environment.
