A little about the Role:
Based in Braeside and reporting to the company Directors, this key position is responsible for a variety of tasks associated with the face of the business. As a main point of contact with new and existing clients, you will be responsible for the quoting and booking of vessel servicing whilst keeping clients up to date throughout the process. Catering to a range of vessels from basic trailer fishing boats to multi-million dollar marina based pleasure crafts, you will be marketing and promoting the marine industry’s latest technology.
More specifically, you will:
- Quote on products and services
- Book client vessels in for servicing
- Act as liaison to the customer throughout the process
- Prioritise workflow to ensure timelines are met
- Handover of the completed boats to the customer
- Monitor stock and order appropriate parts
- Negotiate with suppliers
A little about You:
This is a pivotal role for this business with key relationships both internally and externally, so it’s imperative that you have high personal standards and are constantly striving to exceed client/company expectations by delivering fast and effective results, in a positive and friendly manner.
Ideally, you will come from a retail sales background and have stock management or service scheduling experience. You’ll be highly autonomous with the initiative to make this role your own and you’ll have the organisational prowess to balance the various tasks involved in this role.
