Key Responsibilities
Sat within Equities Control, you will be responsible for:
- The submission of regulatory balance sheet for derivatives for Equities at month end. (7 submissions in total.)
- The reconciliation of consolidated regulatory submissions versus financials at month end, to understand and resolve breaks in the Equities balance sheet on the derivatives, loans and bonds lines.
- The compilation of FAS133 quarterly framework for review with Finance.
- The compilation of quarterly banking book for review with Finance.
- Involvement in consolidated regulatory work as required for the Bank’s change initiative.
- Working on run-the-bank process improvement for the consolidated regulatory month end process.
Candidate requirements
You will have:
- Exposure to Equities products
- Prior experience from within Financial Services, preferably Investment Banking
- Demonstrable exoerience of balance sheet submission
- Regulatory experience
- Previous exposure to senior level decision-makers and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
You will be:
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- A Qualified Accountant or equivalent
- An excellent team worker, able to work in virtual global teams
- Open minded, able to share information, knowledge and expertise with team members
