Equities Reglatory Reporting Controller
Work with Line of business controllers to validate and understand the numbers reported, and with technology teams to improve and enhance reporting processes as part of a wider regulatory reporting review.
The role also requires interaction with other areas across the IB, including tax, legal entity controllers and other line of business financial/product control teams, to ensure consistency around the application of regulatory reporting rules and upcoming changes.
Develop a good understanding of accounting and regulatory requirements whilst building some project management, influencing and communication skills.
The role provides an excellent grounding in all aspects of finance and control and provides a broad platform from which progress can be made into other areas within Finance and Business Management.
REQUIRED SKILLS EXPERIENCE:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Good relationship-building skills as the role requires cross-regional coordination
- Ability to dig into the details, but also analytically review and question final output.
- Excellent communication skills
