Equities Valuation Control function at UBS requires IPV professional for Director level role recruitment
The vacancy exists within Equities though applications from professionals with Commodities or Rates experience will be considered.
Candidates with a product control profile should have a strong Mathematics background and be able to comfortably communicate their understanding of the valuation control environment.
Audit experience is deemed valuable though isn’t a prerequisite to apply for this position. Ex-traders, risk professionals and accounting control candidates have all previously successfully transitioned into the valuations area at UBS.
Valuations at UBS is an area of investment and development within the business, and while you will still perform duties and responsibilities inline with a monthly cycle, there are plenty of opportunities to develop controls, processes, systems, tools etc to better support and enhance the function and your reporting.
You will build strong working relationships with the Equities trading desks, market risk and quantitative risk, trade support, product control and the broader valuations function (including models and methodologies).
