Our client, a successful asset management company, based in Milan, is currently looking for a:
Equity Analyst /Portfolio Manager JAPANESE MARKET
Job Description:
• Assisting the Fund Manager in researching and organizing relevant information about target companies.
• Organizing and attending meetings with analysts and company managements.
• Monitoring target companies by producing reports analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Gathering markets data and constructing spreadsheets and charts.
• Performing special research projects as necessary.
Successful candidates will have following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Economics preferable, CFA strongly preferred.
• 4/6 years experience in the investment industry (on the Japanese equity market); experience with institutional money managers and/or mutual funds in an investment consulting or wealth management environment preferred.
• Good understanding of a variety of investment styles (value, deep value, growth, momentum, total return, and equity income).
• General understanding of financial markets, investment products, and the financial services industry is a plus.
• Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel and Bloomberg skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Interest in working in a team environment.
