Equity Derivatives Product Controller

Morgan Stanley are looking to hire a Product Controller to cover the Equity Exotic Derivatives business.

Key areas of responsibility are:

• Ensuring that control processes are executed in an effective and timely manner. Identifying, communicating and actively working with the appropriate individuals to re mediate ineffective controls
• Supporting and controlling daily, weekly and month end analyses, providing reviewed data to the head of Exotic Derivatives Product Control
• Enhancing and integrating the Exotic daily PL and control processes
• Building knowledge of technical accounting and disclosure processes
• Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship throughout the team and the broader Morgan Stanley organisation.

Skills Required

We are looking for a strong candidate, from an accounting and/or mathematical background, with experience dealing with equity products or with demonstrable experience in Product Control.

Education level:
• Accounting degree or
• Post-graduate accounting qualification - ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.

Professional skills:
• Track record on accounting and control
• Experience of working effectively with other team members
• Must be confident and have well developed communication skills
• Strong controls awareness and understanding
• Committed and self motivated individual
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
