Our client is a leading international banking group with diversified businesses in retail banking, corporate banking, investment banking and wealth management. With commitment to business growth in Asia and a strong focus to strengthen the support to the rapidly-expanding investment banking and global markets business. Due to a recent promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Equity Derivatives Settlement Manager to join their Operations division.
Reporting to the Associate Director, you will be the team leader and oversee the Equity Derivatives Settlement Operations function. You will manage and assist in the daily operations of the Equity Derivatives documentation and settlement team. You will also provide support and manage the processing functions such as documentations, reconciliation and settlement. Leading by example, you will need to initiate change ideas and encourage process improvements. Since this is a manager role, you will be maintaining responsibility and accountability for both people management within the team and also ensure all regulatory targets are met.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree with solid knowledge and experience in Equity Derivatives product
- Candidates with Interest Rate Derivatives knowledge will be prioritised
- At least 2 years of managerial experience
- Sound knowledge of the whole product life cycle especially hands on experience in Settlement/ Confirmation/ Documentations
- A team player and strong leadership skills
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Cantonese
