Hedge Fund Capital Introductions- Client Relationship Management & Business Development Associate recruitment

DYAL Capital takes minority equity stakes in established hedge fund managers (i.e., AUM of over $1.5bn to $7bn.) Dyal’s objective is to ultimately partner with approximately 12 to 15 institutional quality hedge fund firms that have experienced management teams and successful track records. The team completed its first investment in December, 2011 with Capital Fund Management (CFM), a $6bn AUM Paris based hedge fund manager that specializes in quantitative strategies. The team completed its second transaction in June, 2012 with MAST Capital Management, a $1.4bn Boston based hedge fund manager that focuses on various long and short credit strategies globally.

Key responsibilities include:

Successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to work positively and cooperatively with other internal client management and sales professionals in a large global organization, as well as with the existing sales and client management professionals at our hedge fund portfolio companies. This requires excellent communication skills and a winning team, can-do attitude. 

Additionally, successful candidates will need the ability to operate independently of Neuberger Berman’s sales force in developing, opening and maintaining single strategy hedge fund investor relationships with institutional investors. 

The position will cover 4 primary investor channels globally:

• Fund of Funds/Family Offices

• Pension Plans (Corporate and Public)

• Endowment/Foundation

• Sovereign Wealth Funds

Qualified candidates will have:

•  Undergraduate degree, as well as excellent academic credentials; graduate degree preferred.

•  3-10 years of experience in Prime Brokerage Capital Introductions or Hedge Fund Business Development, preferably with exposure in a multi-product environment

•  Demonstrated experience developing relationships within the hedge fund industry

•  Strong judgment and critical thinking skills; ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally

and in written form

•  Ability to multi-task with a fine-tuned attention to detail

•  Team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
