Responsibilities:
- Investigation and resolution of position and trade exceptions through daily reconciliations
- Execution and management of lifecycle processes
- Demonstrate an understanding of front to back trade flows as well as the risk and PnL.
- Resolution of daily queries regarding the Equity Derivatives products.
- Working closely with the data management team in the setup of new static data
- Actively contribute in new business or process change initiatives through collaboration with other teams.
- Be able to take a lead role in the review, automation and streamlining of any functions within the EQD MO group.
- Verification and production of various regulatory reports
- Build a strong network across multiple departments within the firm such as Trading, Product Control, Technology and other parts of Operations
Requirements:
- Hard working individual, relevant university degree preferred, who is interested in furthering their career
- 2-3 years’ experience within a trade support / desk assistant role
- Knowledge of Vanilla and Exotic derivative products (i.e. Warrants Swaps, Range Accruals, ELNs, Variance / Volatility Swaps etc.)
- Able to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Ability to work under pressure – meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated person with strong attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft skills especially in excel and good IT knowledge.
