The Semiconductors sector within Equity Research is looking for strong Research Sr. Associate in the New York office. The role involves building and maintaining models, as well as writing research notes and industry pieces. The team is looking for strong analytical candidates, with a passion for Equity Research.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creation and maintenance of earnings, valuation and industry models leveraging skills in accounting, finance, economics, and statistics
• Research and write reports with a company or sector specific focus
• Respond to requests for data, information and calls from internal and external clients
• Keep abreast of industry-related news flow
• Develop and maintain relationships with investor relations personnel and management of companies under coverage
• Develop forecasting models using economics/statistics Regular interaction with equity sales force
• Understand the nuances of the industry

Skills Required

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics or Accounting required
• Strong computer skills/information systems background a plus
• 1-2 years of relevant experience a plus
• Outstanding analytical/financial skills
• High energy, self-motivated, creative and organized
• Proven writing skills
• Strong focus on teamwork
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Very strong excel and data management skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and reprioritize a must

Skills Desired • 3 to 5 years sell or buy side research experience, investment banking or accounting • CFA/CPA a plus •
