Equity Research Analyst – Big Cap Sector – Tier One Broker
Our client is a leading broker based in London. They have a well rated equity research franchise and are now looking to recruit an equity research analyst to cover one of their big cap sectors.
The role will involve writing equity research on the major companies within one of the big cap sectors on a pan European basis, and then marketing your investment ideas to your institutional and asset management clients. The position requires a mix of detailed financial analysis, commercial and sector analysis, an understanding of the commercial and economic drivers and factors in the markets combined with real belief in your ideas and an ability to sell your ideas.
They are very interested in hiring a strategy consultant for the role from one of the leading strategy consulting firms. The position is probably suitable suitable for someone at the Associate to Senior Manager/ Engagement Manager level. It might be suitable for someone who has just finished an MBA.
