Equity Research Analyst – Oil Services & Drilling recruitment
The Company:
The Role
- Works with Senior Energy Analysts to assist w/coverage of US energy industry. Lead analyst responsible for conceptualizing, constructing and maintaining Research Dashboards for Oil Services industries.
- Identifies relevant industry data needed to populate domestic global energy dashboards.
- Works w/ Fundamentals Economic Statistics teams to determine scope, data capture process, quality control of additional data to be added to Bloomberg, including info on specific energy assets.
- Configures data to display on Research Dashboard. Conducts industry analyses on periodic topical basis.
- Interacts with investor relations personnel, Senior Management of energy companies.
- Prepares written reports, including Industry Primer and Themes Issues reports, under supervision of Senior Analyst. Develops maintains relationships w/ internal departments external market professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, CFA II certification or MBA degree.
- Must have 4+ yrs progressively responsible experience as a Research Analyst, and prior experience with advanced concepts, practices, procedures of finance accounting; experience interpreting financial statements performing quantitative financial analysis.
- Requires working understanding of Oil Services Drilling Industries, understanding of finding development costs well economics.
