Equity Settlements Specialist
The Settlements Specialist will be responsible for handling the whole life cycle of a trade. Candidate should be familiar with DTC and FED settlements. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, pre-matching trades, monitoring funding requirements, and cash reconciliations. Individual will liaise with front office, senior management, and other internal divisions. Qualified candidates will have a very strong equity settlements background, as well as understand the products and be able to speak in detail about settlements. Temp to perm opportunity.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of working experience in settlements processing at a Bank or Brokerage House
- Exposure and experience in US equity settlements
- Exposure and experience in US bond settlements
- Familiarity with DTC and NSCC is preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to handle fast-paced and high pressure situations
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed
- Strong computer skills are required
- Specific technical experience in US/CAD/Mexican market would be preferred
