Position Description:
As member of the Equity Swaps product control team, you will be responsible for managing P/L production, reporting and analysis functions for the New York DSP (Delta One Structured Products) Business Unit. This role reports to Vice President.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Oversee various product control functions including completion of Daily PnL reporting, periodic revenue analysis and commentary, monthly signoff on books records, analysis of balance sheet usage, etc.
• Lead or participate in projects to improve processes and improve quality and depth of analytics
• Assist in implementation of division-wide initiatives including Funding PnL renovation, reduction of manual adjustments, subledger renovation, etc.
• Be the first point of contact for the business unit to assist with ad-hoc queries
• Directly manage two employees (one Analyst and one Associate) based in New York
• Oversee work produced by Glasgow team and resolve issues

Skills Required:
We are looking for experienced product controller with advanced finance, accounting, and product knowledge. The candidate should be a quick learner and possess the ability to establish and foster relationships Business Unit. Specific requirements include:
• Strong academic background with undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-8 years of relevant experience; must include product control experience
• Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office application - particularly Excel and Access
• Team player with demonstrated record of initiative and resourcefulness
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships business units and other functional groups

Skills Desired:
• Prior experience with equity products is preferred but not required
