Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will oversee the execution of short and long term strategies to support organizational goals pertinent to the Emergency Services in their 60K visit, Level III Trauma Center, and will have responsibility for 70 FTE's. The ideal candidate will be a "hands-on", visible, engaging leader, that holds their staff accountable, and are able to have difficult discussions as needed. Icollaboration with the Director of Emergency Services, this manager will establish and ensure compliance with standards of clinical care, as well as maintain accountability for staffing, quality, safety, service, and clinical excellence throughout the department. They will maintain integral relationships with medical staff leadership and will be accountable for the implementation and proper application of policies, programs and services as established by federal and state regulatory bodies. They will also research, identify, and implement initiatives and opportunities to improve the effectiveness of management within each department. The position reports to the Director of Emergency Services.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a valid WA RN License, 3-5 years management experience; BSN req; masters preferred.
