JOB SUMMARY Responsible for dedicated account support for Erate, Rural HealthCare, California Teleconnect Fund, and other government funded commercial customers. Create and manage procedures for the support of all new and renewing accounts participating in government-funded programs. Manage and coordinate all aspects of customer billing. Assist Account Executives and Major Account Representatives with product pricing, government program eligibility and process rules. Ensure all accounts comply with program requirements, and that we have and retain customer information in accordance with regulatory requirements. Serve as the subject matter expert in Erate, Rural Health Care, California Teleconnect Fund, and other government funded programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Assist Account Executives, MARs, and customers in complying with regulatory and government standards for Erate, Rural Health Care, California Teleconnect Fund, state funded and other government funded programs. This includes collecting and retaining required information, communicating with the customer about funding requirements, and ensuring government deadlines are met. Compare government bid reports to Charter footprint and identify government funding opportunities; disseminate to the sales organization. Assist with RFP and other responses to government-funded customers; ensure correct terms and conditions are included. Create and manage contracts, ensure correct terms and conditions are included. Manage the initial account setup in the billing system to ensure that accounts are properly billed and all specially-required information is captured, accurate and recorded. Responsible for the overall account set up and project management for each new funding year. Includes interpreting government filing information, comparing government filings to Charter Business documentation, and assessing how to appropriately set up and track each customer throughout the funding year. Manage government PIA Reviews; ensure government deadlines are met. Request funds from government entities on funded and discounted accounts. Process government payments, ensuring funds are applied to the correct customer accounts. Collect past-due amounts from both government accounts and government-funded customer accounts. Manage complex, specialized billing. Reconcile customer and government accounts. Conduct billing and payment research. Conduct detailed account reviews with both government and customer accounts. Establish and monitor internal control procedures. Provide contract information for tracking and submission to regulatory agencies as needed Update and maintain internal databases and reports. Collaborate with other departments to address customer problems and questions. Conduct account reviews over the phone and with webex or similar tools. Perform internal audits; take action as necessary to ensure all activities and records comply with Charter and government-funded program requirements. Assist Regulatory Department in responding to external audits. Some travel required for training, industry conferences and occasional customer meetings. Perform other duties as requested.
