ERP Solutions Architect recruitment

The Solution Architect is responsible for providing expert functional support on ERP and corporate application projects to the AX functional and applications support consultants and project managers. Solution Architect will deliver effective strategic presentations to audiences of all sizes and possess excellent communication skills. The person must have proven experience in projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects with high customer satisfaction or references. The Solutions Architect is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

• Responsible for providing functional/project management assistance to the implementation teams in shaping, developing and implementing Dynamics AX solution. Key areas of focus are ERP solution envisioning, Functional and technical architecture design.

• Overall Responsibility for the solutions on Dynamics AX other related applications, ensuring that all business requirements are addressed in accordance with the business needs.

• Responsible for imparting training to Functional and application consultants, providing end user support, if required implementing specific ERP configurations where applicable.

• Responsible to ensure that the projects have the best-fit solutions and do not compromise with the base framework of the application while delivering the solutions on time and in accordance with the project scope requirements.

• Responsible for suggesting timescales and the resources on solutions needed for allocated projects to the Group ERP Manager/ Group IT Director.

• Responsible for keeping the key stakeholders informed on the status of project and highlight any risks associated with the project specially financial, operational and technical.

• Responsible as the support to the project managers for all enhancements to the allocated project in order to continually improve the system.

• Responsible for solutions on the scope and implementation of user defined reports and other analytical tools in coordination with technical and functional consultants keeping in mind the auditory requirements for traceability and control of changes to DAX.

• To analyze, test, document and deploy all the customizations done by the technical team for all Dynamics AX projects and any application projects, if allocated.

• To monitor and review the solutions provided by consultants on day-to-day support, allocated projects for BU’s while ensuring that corporate goals are consistently achieved and maintained. Also responsible for providing inputs to the Group ERP Manager on requirements for team’s development requirements.

• To ensure that all procedures and working practices adhere to those defined in Standard Operations Manual.

• Perform other appropriate duties as requested by Group ERP Manager.

Requirements:

• 7 – 10 years of working experience as a functional consultant/Lead on Microsoft Dynamics AX.

• University degree in field of technology or management  preferred a major in  Business

• Management.

• Demonstrated experience in the implementation of ERP systems preferably Microsoft

• Dynamics AX 4.0/2009/2012.

• In depth knowledge on business processes procedures.

• Mandatory in-depth knowledge of at least 3 of the following business area(s): Inventory Management, Financial management, Warehouse management, Project Service management, Supply Chain management and Human Resource management

• Good communication skills.

• Good Presentation skills.

• Hard working, Team player, self motivated, focused with a “can do” attitude.

• Ability to work under strict timelines and un-supervised.

• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
